Use a two liter, three pencils, vinegar, baking soda, a paper towel, and a cork to build this rocket.  Pretty simple!  This experiment easily goes along with Newton's Laws, scientific inquiry, or chemical reactions.

Use calcium chloride and water (exothermic) and ammonium nitrate and water (endothermic). Could be used with 6-8.PS1.B.2

This is a video that shows the experiment with elephant toothpaste in a more dramatic event then we get in class. (So, I show it after the lab.)
