The most successful website of the decade Youtube is the biggest search engine for any video. We often needs videos to take out from youtube and there are basically two ways to download videos, either via a web app or via a desktop application. Personally, I like the web applications better simply because you don't have to clutter up and slow down your computer with all kinds of software! So here in this post i have created a list of 14 websites to Download videos from youtube.

What is Wallwisher and why use it? Its a Web 2.0 application which allows students to express their thoughts or share information on a science concept. This online application allows the author (teacher or student) to add information as post it stickies, it also allows others to add comments or information to wall - subject to the author's approval.

Some very cool and easy to implement ideas to get your kids blogging, you could have this as a checklist so you don't have to always be thinking how to get kids/parents interacting on the blogs.

Hard to explain, sort of like a diigo on a photo, comments, questions can be posted or tagged to certain parts of the image Could be great for a H/W front loading session, have the kids view and ask questions /make comments before sharing in class. Could be anonymous or not.

Good to do for our Khmer/French language classes

So, how can you use Jing (or other capturing alternatives) in your classroom? Here are some quick ideas for you: You can create training videos for quick and easy access for students, or even yourself for refreshers, etc… Have your students record themselves solving math problems and then post on your classroom blog! Have your students record their presentations Have your students record themselves researching and presenting their findings Don't stick to the norm! Have your students get creative - create a timeline of an explorer's life and then present it via Jing!
