Welcome to the Storyboard Generator. You can choose a script and create a storyboard. Try building your own storyboard using background location photographs. Once done, you can save and share your storyboard video with friends. Remember to register with Generator first if you would like to save your storyboard.

50+Ways - 50Dominoes - 0 views

50+ Ways to Tell the Dominoe Story Just to prove it can be done, I create the same story as an example for every tool in the list using a story about my first dog, Dominoe. Previously, I created this short story done as a video assembled from still images and audio that was submitted for a 60 Second Story contest Each story below is based on my storyboard and assembled images on flickr and in Picasa . Note that a number of tools allow you to directly import media from these media sites. Below are examples of the same story (over and over again!) I was able to create in the 50+ tools, with both linked versions (on the tool's web site) and embedded versions, using the code provided to embed a media player into this web site. One of the most interesting discoveries was that most of these tools provided the ability to embed the media in other web sites.

"Personification Stories View Student Lesson Plan Export Lesson Plan Example: * Crossing Signal * Brainstorm Example Template: * Brainstorm Traits Worksheet * Project Vision * Project Storyboard Assessment: * Story Rubric * Animation Rubric Grade Level: 3, 4 and 5 Subject: Language Arts Duration: 1 week Objective: Students learn to use personification as they personify an object for a clay animation. Students use conflict, experiences, and situations to help the viewer imagine what it might be like to be a particular object."

You can use personification to make your writing more interesting. Personification is a figure of speech in which human qualities are given to objects, animals, or ideas. For example: the fire breathed hot in our faces and its flames grabbed at our clothes, or the chocolate cake is calling my name. You can find personification at work in lots of different types of writing. Lewis Carroll's uses lots of personification in The Adventures of Alice in Wonderland. Remember the white rabbit and Alice playing croquet with a deck of cards?

Perhaps my favourite classroom tool of the past year is My StoryMaker from the Carnegie Libraries of Pittsburgh. It's great fun and has never failed to entertain me or my students - always the sign of a good activity. Most importantly, it really gets students thinking about language and focuses them on producing creative, quality work.
