You could use your hands if you wanted but you probably didn't wash your hands before starting this anyhow. Start with a quick run about around the perimeter of the bowl with your spoon. A few quick strokes through the middle and you should have a heavy batter. If it looks too thick to be pancake batter and not thick enough to be playdough, you're right on target. 4. The reading games are perfect for reviewing parts of speech and learning sight words and vocabulary. Some of the reading games are also available in hard copy to help teach children to read by giving them a stress-free and fun approach to learning. Math games cover a range of topics such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

Greg, this could be a way to cover video and web ettiquette with grade 7-8's?(Video - Social Studies Project) Students discussed how technology has changed over time and the ways that some people use it in an inappropriate manner. Students created short movies to address particular behaviors, emphasizing the importance of correcting those behaviors. This video is a compilation of their work to educate everyone on technology etiquette.

The games start off relatively easy, but soon increase in difficulty to provide the level of challenge required to engage students. Some very interesting ideas from a language teacher After writing a few reflections on the units I covered last term, I realized that summative reflection could become a tedious chore that doesn't serve much of purpose. This term I would like to work on writing shorter more formative reflections to help me stay connected with my units, and that will hopefully illicit some useful feedback from you, dear reader.
