Using the Tech Tuesday Archives for Hands-On Training | Technology Teaching Tips and Tools - 0 views

  •
" Looking for hands-on training on Tech Tuesday topics? Here is a quick tip to use the archive videos as a hands-on, just-in-time, training tool: Open two browser windows side-by-side (one for the tool you plan to learn (if using an online tool like SharePoint or WordPress) and the other with the Tech Tuesday list of archives.) OR open the desktop application and a browser window with the Tech Tuesday archive list. Click on the link for the Tech Tuesday archive you want to view (make sure your speakers are on or use a headset) Pause the archive to try a task demonstrated and try that task in your the appropriate window. You can then hit the play button when ready to continue. You can also move the scroll bar to either review or skip ahead."

"The MATRIX Project (http://matrixlearning.org) provides resources to improve middle school reading and mathematics achievement through the development of interactive educational games that use PDAs, iPods and video cameras, along with web-based resources including Quantum Simulations' online Artificial Intelligence Assessors and Tutors. Our games can be played on a handheld or computer using the Flash Player™ application. Download the newest Flash Player for free, if you don't already have it. Send Us Feedback on the games, and check out games developed by our partners at New Mexico State University."

projeqt \ how great stories are told - 0 views

  •
Projeqt is a very new application - you still need an invite to use it- that lets you create what you could call interactive slideshows. In some ways, I might describe it as a more sophisticated Prezi that's easier to create and less confusing to watch.
  •
Like Prezi? but less confusing? sounds intriguing

Knovio | Online Video Presentations Made Easy | PowerPoint + Webcam - 0 views

  •
Knovio might end up being one of the best Web 2.0 applications of the year. You upload a PowerPoint presentation, record a presentation with your microphone and webcam, and then it's done! It's free, and it is not open to the public yet, but I received an invitation about five seconds after I requested it.
  •
Looks good, and now we have good mics!!! yeah!
