Google Docs is such an incredible tool for college students, offering collaboration, portability, ease of use, and widespread acceptance. But there are so many options, both hidden and obvious, that there's a good chance you're not using Google Docs to its fullest capability.

This website is great! It has lots of teacher development workshops, conferences, courses that you can take for free or take for a fee for CEU's. My favorite thing about this website though is the resources it has available for the teacher, for every grade for just about every subject.

another useful rubric creation site

Google Docs are a wonderful way to share information among students, teachers, and between students and teachers.

Same website as listed prior to, but a different page link. I've heard a few people were having some trouble, just another example and explanation of the UbD template. Similar to the ones listed in the text and workbook, but thought the more resources available, the better!

Similar to edhelper resource that was recently posted (Sorry David) for a second time. Includes a variety of worksheet generators, lesson plans, rubrics, assessments, etc. Certainly worth bookmarking for future reference!

This website has a small but interesting list of ways to begin questions, categorized by which level of Bloom's taxonomy you are looking to work in. This link takes you immediately to the question starters, but the entire website is worth perusing if you have a moment.

I use this as a lead-in to procedural writing. It is a 'trick' test - if you follow the directions, you don't actually do anything. Students are marked down (the grade doesn't count) for everything that appears on their paper beyond the month. I use it to illustrate the importance of: following directions by carefully reading all the information; and how to look at procedure.
