Measuring the iPad's Potential for Education -- THE Journal - 1 views

    Both of my sons - 8th grader and senior -were not too impressed with the ipad - similar to the students referenced in the article. Yes the apps are fun - the touch screen way cool - but my sons said that for classroom purposes it is very limited at this point in time. For schools without the abundance of technology, the ipad would be a great tool for internet usage and discovery. I am wondering why it would be preferable to a netbook? Lisa
