You get more than one speed of music from this album. It travels from great driving music, to the dance floor, to the street, and to the bedroom. It is impossible to get bored with this album, because there's is no one constant. It makes the listener wonder what the next song will bring. This is episode 108. This week's artist is with Joy Valencia. She's is a talented singer/songwriter originally from a Chicago, IL. Joy attended college in Boston, MA where she met her husband who is also her co-writer and producer. Currently, they live in Los Angeles were they released her self-title debut EP. Maybe it is due to her Farfisa electric organ in the song, "Don't Wak the Lion", but Joy's music is a unique mixture of psychedelic melodies of today tied in with retro 1960's "Psychedelic Era" pop music. We are at the mid-point of the year and we are tracking the top 20 most selling albums of 2013. Nielson SoundScan has been doing this top 20 countdown for 22 years now and they recently released the top 20 chart for the besting selling albums in the first half of the year.

Global superstar Jessie J will not be returning for a new season with BBC's hit show, "The Voice UK." The 25 year old performer had been a coach on the show for the past two seasons. Instead, Jessie J is planning to fully concentrate on the release of her new album.

Superstar rapper T.I. is still working independently and enjoying working on his own terms. It has now been a few months since T.I.P. and Atlantic Records parted ways. In total, the duo released 7 albums, with multiple albums reaching platinum and gold. The Atlanta rapper has been working with a variety of different artist since his contract was fulfilled, such as Lil Wayne, B.o.B., and Cee Lo Green.

Dj Drama and Lil Wayne are expected to drop "Dedication 5" in the upcoming months according to reports. Dj Drama revealed last month that he and Lil Wayne are planning to release a 5th mixtaped, continuing the "Dedication" series. Both Drama and Lil Wayne have already started recording the new mixtaped. According to Drama, "Dedication 5" will be closely associated to the first three mixtapes of the series.

We are now just officially a few days away from hearing the major announcement that legendary rock band Pearl Jam has planned. Pearl Jam has launched an online countdown clock on their official website. According to the website, the announcement will be released on July 8th at 1:00p.m. eastern time.
