This is my humble effort to present to you my Top 10 Greatest Rock Guitarists of all times. This of course does not mean that I am pretending to be a critic or an expert. I am just a guy who is a hard-core rock fan and who occasionally plays the guitar and keys with his friends.

Barre chords - the archenemy of guitarists everywhere. Just the mere mention of the words is enough to make the average guitar learner's blood run cold. But barre chords are not something that some people can do and others can't. After years of teaching and thousands of lessons, I can confidently say that learning them is well within reach of almost every guitar player.

This guys a pretty underrated guitarist. The track above, Gypsy in my Soul, sounds more aggressive than anything his contemporaries came up with. It might be a bit sloppy sounding at points - that's relative - but Kessel gives an inspired performance in a trio setting nonetheless.

Tangent Transmission is not the typical Los Angeles rock band. In fact, they give a whole new definition to the meaning of rock.
