Moreton Bay Regional Council Mayor, Allan Sutherland, has announced the three local bands to represent the Moreton Bay region at this year's Splendour in the Grass.

The shows are mostly punk, though they've been known to include acoustic, hip-hop, and indie musicians. Some are local, some are from out of town, most are upstarts, but all are bands struggling to "make it" and grateful for a bowl of pasta and a couch to crash on.
