Music educators use and collect numerous forms and by switching to Google Docs for some of those forms it will streamline the process of collecting information.  These docs can replace practice records, booster parent forms and contact forms. 

This website serves the purpose of giving music teachers from grades 1-12 games, music symbols, guitar chords, and rhythm exercises for teaching. It allows teachers to have something to give students when preparing for a test or the next section of a class. This website includes features such as midi pianos, ear training courses, the lines treble and bass clefs for study, and rhythm games for understanding and foundation.

This program allows the user to record the screen and use a microphone to the recording.  In music classes, students could present composer or instrument projects using this recorder.  Teachers could use this to explain the minor scales while recording the music from a scale sheet.

This site contains an audio example along with a viewable example of the lead sheet (in most cases). This is a fantastic resource for jazz students.

The purpose of this website is to provide a list of free jazz sheet music in the keys of Bb, Eb, and bass clef from the "Real Book". The content lists songs from A to Z which provide an audio recording link for each without any ads. Students can use this site to play along with the sheet music and accompaniment provided. It would make a great practice tool in addition to method book material for students of all ages. The author of the site also promotes a "my music apps" page for beginner and experienced musicians.

The purpose of this website is to provide individual drum lessons to young aspiring percussionists. This also would be useful for music educators whose primary instrument might not be percussion. The content features material and video on drum rudiments, purchasing options, showmanship, performance technique, musicality and world connections.

This app allows you to update presentations, calendars, photos, schedules and to collaborate with others on projects on the go.  This would be a useful app when on a trip with students to keep parents informed on the schedule, activities and photos.

GarageBand for Mac has everything you need to learn, play, record, mix, and share great-sounding music, even if you've never played a note. Garageband is a program for apple products. It allows users to compose their own music using loops and recorded segments.
