This blog is helpful to pre service teachers because it outlines ways of planning for instruction in an organized way. It also talks about ways to set up the classroom in order to promote optimal learning. In addition, the blogger offers lots of helpful tips for teachers such as finding time before school or during the weekend to take care of administrative duties.

Phew - just in time for the first few weeks of class!  Our editors have handpicked more than 25 of our favorite icebreakers and group activities and have provided free instructions.  These icebreakers are simply the best, and we've played them all personally.  Try 'em out and let us know how they work out for you!

This site was created by a grant from the REMC Association of Michigan for the creation of an educational resource for educational technology for students. Members of the REMC Instructional Technology Specialists in Michigan along with teachers from the state, have created this site to provide project-based activities which are aligned to the National Educational Technology Standards for Students (NETS-S), and the Michigan Educational Technology Standards for students (METS) as well as the Framework for 21st Century Learning identified by the Partnership For 21st Century Skills.

I tried to use this, but I can't figure out how to duplicate some of the cool things I saw. All I could do was loop an existing video. I watched a bunch of GIFs that were really creative. There aren't any instructions. I will keep trying though.
