Berlin street artist, Sweza, is bringing back the old-school boom box in a new-school way with his super cool project called QRadio. Just spot his QRadio boombox on the streets, snap a pict of the QR code with your phone, and your phone is transformed into a cassette tape that fits perfectly with the piece. Sweet.

South Korea's Tesco (Home Plus) has implemented QR codes to simplify the way people shop at their store.

Certain iPhone apps are being promoted out of home to encourage users to download them - if they haven't already. Rather than creating a regular old QR code that will take people directly to the app, they can scan clever, custom codes that uses images relevant to the app itself to compose the code.

Skanz, a tech startup that links personalized scannable bar codes to a user's social-network contact info and then prints them on such stunning fashion essentials as these silicone bracelets, claims to have created the world's largest QR code-80 gallons of paint covering 10,000 square feet.

Consumers can download the eBay app to scan the QR codes featured on the interactive store windows.
