I was thinking http://schema.org/WebPage, http://schema.org/WebPageElement, and http://schema.org/CollegeOrUniversity ~ for our smbl files, http://schema.org/Event ~ for calendar/events , http://schema.org/GeoCoordinates ~ for the map, and maybe even making some recommendations for specific entities on campus like the theater ~ http://schema.org/TheaterGroup, which could benefit from event, but also an identity.

After listening to the speech, the title of it sounds more like a warning rather than a prediction. Personally, I don't think the browser is going anywhere any time soon. As far as HTML5, I think it's going to be huge. Anxiously awaiting Ubuntu on tablets http://www.ubuntu.com/tablet/app-ecosystem and phones http://www.ubuntu.com/phone/app-ecosystem. Just think, with native HTML5 APIs, any web developer with some minor skill adjustment can develop native phone and tablet apps.
