An article by Kevin Michael Klipfel, Information Literacy Coordinator at Cal State Chico that "articulates and defends a student-centered approach to reference and instructional librarianship defined by authentic engagement with students' interests." Klipfel proposes a concept of "counselor librarian"..."facilitating significant learning through authentic engagement with students."

This article by Haras and Brasley (2011) cite our "reframing" article and explores the public policy dimension of information literacy. This is a fascinating argument that shows the relevance of IL and ML beyond educational environments.
