JustPaste.It is a free, simple note sharing service. At its most basic Just Paste It provides an online word processor for writing notes and documents. You can also insert images and videos into your Just Paste It notes. Sharing notes online with Just Paste It is a simple matter of clicking the "publish" button. Clicking publish generates a unique url for your notes that can share with others.  Just Paste It notes don't have to live entirely online. Notes can be started online or started offline in a MS Word document and imported to Just Paste It for editing and sharing. If you need to print your notes, Just Paste It notes can be downloaded as PDFs for printing.

Dewey Digger is an interesting attempt to catalog the web according to the Dewey Decimal System. To use Dewey Digger just click on a Dewey Decimal category. Then select a topic in that category. Once you've selected a topic Dewey Digger will present you with twenty-seven sources of information. Click any of those sources to see articles, videos, and images on your chosen topic.

Picturing America is a project of the National Endowment for the Humanities and the American Library Association. Picturing America is an interactive gallery of artwork related to events, people, and themes in American history. You can browse the gallery chronologically or by theme. Click on any image in the gallery to learn about the artist and the artwork itself. Along with the background information for each image, Picturing America provides links to additional resources for learning about the artwork and artists.

The theater's feature presentation is a series of interviews produced by the Smithsonian American Art Museum, Abstract Artists Describe the 1930s. Additionally, user-created documentaries can be viewed from the theater's balcony. Go to the theater's projection booth to find PrimaryAccess and a movie-making tutorial.

The History Commons contains summaries of 15,454 events, which are published on the website in the format of dynamic timelines. These timelines can be filtered by investigative project, topic, or entity (e.g., a person, organization, or corporation). You can even generate a "scalable context" timeline for any event in the History Commons database simply by clicking the date of the timeline entry. You can search for events by using the search box at the top right-hand corner, or by browsing through the list of projects.\n\n

LiveBinder It' is a bookmarking tool that you can add to your browser tool bar. While you are browsing the web, you can add web pages directly into one of your binders or a new binder in your account by clicking on the LiveBinder It link. This way, you can add pages without having to go to the LiveBinders site. It is a quicker and easier way to add web pages to your binders.
