"Students and teachers can login to the DocHub app (or DocHub.com) using their Google account. From there, it is possible to upload any PDF, text document, or Microsoft Office file from Drive, the web, or even your computer/Chromebook download folder. Once a document had been uploaded, students can highlight, draw, insert text boxes, and even incorporate sticky notes. These annotated PDFs can then be sent to Drive or even shared with a link. Sidetones is an excellent web tool for annotating web pages. It allows you to add notes to any web page without having to switch tabs or use a third party platform. With a simple click, a new sidebar will open up next to the page you are browsing where you can add and edit your notes.

PDFs (portable document formats) are probably the most popular document format we use in our daily work as teachers and educators. As such, we deemed it important that we share with you this list of some interesting tools to help you do more with your PDF files. These Chrome apps will allow you to edit, annotate, convert, view, fill forms and share PDFs. Some of these add-ons (such as the first two in this list) are also integrated with Google Drive.

Splashtop Classroom is a great tool that allows teachers control and share lessons and presentations on their desktop with all students in class. Students will be able to see and follow everything you do on your desktop. With the recent updates, both teachers and students now can use whiteboard tools to add annotations and drawings to lesson content right from their own devices.

MoocNote is a new web tool ideal for flipped classrooms. Using MoocNote, you will be able to build your own video library by importing videos from YouTube, Dropbox, or Google Drive. You can also use MoocNote's video plater interface to add notes to your videos. All of your notes link back to the appropriate place in the videos and are collected into one central place which you can access anytime, anywhere

"iAnnotate is a previously premium app (it used to cost $9.99) turned free. Since undergoing a makeover on Android earlier this year the app has dropped not just the hefty price tag but the cluttered interface also. The app offers a clean space giving documents room to breath - and room for any on-page scribbles and comments to be made!"
