This is a website that youth can post their created digital media as wel as express their own idea and opinion to have their own voices and collaborate regarding issues they care and concern about. Urbanization, gender equality, racial justice, environmental protection for everyone are among the issues that global youth care about. Teachers need to provide students a safe environment on line or in person to express themselves.

More than 100 projects completed with teacher resources and teaching guides, this is the website for K-12 teachers to collaborate on-line for students projects exchange and teaching ideas exchange. Get to know what other teachers and students are doing in topics we are interested in are eye-opening. Students can have real time exchange for video, idea and resources under teacher's supervision.

This site provides courses for parents to prepare their children for school. There are lessons on content areas as well as to prepare for independent activities with independence time.

This tool provides teachers with the data needed to track students' progress on solving word problems. IXL gives students different word problems to solve. These problems could be solved in a small-group rotation. This would help students identify the steps and method they are using. Also, students would be able to take their time to solve these problems in their elementary school classroom.

This tool provides pre-k to 12 additional support/practice with math concepts. Teachers are able to assign a skill to practice in class or at home. Teachers are able to access reports by concept and time spent. Down side is the cost of IXL.

I use this website for fluency practice and lesson extensions with my small group math instruction. My first graders enjoy the games.

This website is an amazing tool. You can share files, documents, and even your screen with your group partner. ShowDocument allows teams to complete co-edits, use a whiteboard for brainstorming, view video clips, search web pages, and even utilize google maps. ShowDocument has a lot of collaborative web tools in once place. You have to pay for a membership to use chat translators and screen captures, but the basic tools are ideal for most group projects. Debategraph is a fantastic tool for individual and group study. It is perfect for organizing thoughts, ideas and facts. You can create bullet points and subcategories of information. On Debategraph you can map your ideas and collaborate with team members. I used Debate graph on my website in 605 as a language arts tool. Its a an ideal tool for brainstorming and organizing a persuasive or informative argument. Students can also present information using the debategraph as a visual. Best, Denee Devenish

This is a neat way to organize links to videos and websites and access them in the Cloud. This can act as a bookmarking tool. You can create a Symbaloo for your students that houses links for research, tools for formating, and helpful sites for assignments. This type of site takes the "Google it" mentality out of the equation; you provide the links to where you want to direct students when they engage with the technology. This site could be applicable for any grade level or any discipline. This is a free resource, but you must create an account.

This seems like a great resource! Colonial times is a part of my curriculum, and so I definitely plan on integrating this resource into my instruction. There are various features of this website that would motivate and engage students. Great find!

All of the activities are well organized under different categories relating to the five core components of reading: Phonological Awareness, Phonics, Fluency, Vocabulary, and Comprehension. All of the resources also provide teachers with detailed instructions on how to play each of the games.

It is an easy way for teachers to find lessons that they may be struggling with. I like to find lessons and change them to make them work for me. The blog is also helpful because it helps teachers relate to one another, that may be struggling with the same things my team does.

This is a portion of a website called Reading A-Z which focuses on various strategies used to teach students to ID letters and their corresponding sounds. Some of the segments of information include: the alphabet song, alphabet books (these are available through Reading A-Z if you have a membership), teaching sounds, writing letters and alphabet activities. Many of these activities are multi-sensory and interactive, engaging ways to teach the alphabet and sounds to young children. They would make good whole group, small group or literacy center activities in the classroom.
