This one is different from the first one because it doesn't have a PDF that students use as a journal. The pictures of flowers are good. It also has a blog that you could adapt.

An E-book about calculus. I didn't find a lot of dynamic aspects of the online book and wish it was more interactive. There are a lot of color graphical images students can access, and content is presented pretty well. Nice extra resource.

Calculus help tutorials that go with students studying at home. This would be very helpful for students to get a different voice and be able to share their findings during class discussion.

Mount Holyoke physics professor Mark Peterson argues that Galileo's applications of mathematics to Dante's Inferno laid the groundwork for his later discoveries (to be expanded on in a forthcoming book: ""Galileo's Muse: Renaissance Mathematics and the Arts" )

Northwestern University scientists created a model to explore food web dynamics towards species conservation. "The goal of this project, funded by the National Science Foundation's Division of Mathematical Sciences, is to develop mathematical methods to study dynamical processes in complex networks. Although the specific application mentioned here may be useful in management of ecosystems, the mathematical foundation underlying the analysis is much more universal. The broad concept is innovative in the area of complex networks because it concludes that large-scale failures can be avoided by focusing on preventing the waves of failure that follow the initial event."
