The Republican primary in one graph - 4 views

Seth Friedman on 23 Jan 12"anyqs" I'm very interested in how exactly the poll defines a "Republican-leaning independent". Was it self-reported? Were the subjects asked about their views on certain issues, and, if so, how was a "Republican" viewpoint determined? In addition, I'm curious as to what the sample size is for this data, as well as what a rough population number would be. For registered Republicans, I feel like this would be easy to calculate, but it would be rather difficult to determine the population size for "Republican-leaning independents" depending on what method was used.
