As stated in Aurp Canada's blog "The Canadian Innovation Exchange (CIX) has partnered with the Government of Canada, through its Canadian Trade Commissioner Service office in San Francisco-Silicon Valley, to announce a prestigious development opportunity for Canadian companies working in Information and Communication Technology and Digital Media." The CIX Top 20 will take place on December 1st, 2011 at the MaRS Centre.

Dr. Geordie Rose, Founder and CTO, D-Wave Systems Inc.  been awarded the inaugural CIX (Canadian Innovation Exchange) innovator of the year award. Dr. Rose will receive the award at the CIX event that will be held at the MaRS Discovery District.

On September 1st, 2011, Canadian Innovation Exchange (CIX) kicked-off their national search for Canada's Top 20 hottest innovative technology start-ups.Canadian startups have until October 14th to submit their applications to the CIX Top 20. The competition will take place on December 1st at the MaRS Centre.

The Canadian Innovation Exchange (CIX) has announced this year's Top 20 list of Canada's most innovative Canadian technology companies, which have been selected to present at an event on Dec. 1, at the MaRS Discovery District in Toronto. On December 1st, 2011 at the MaRS Centre, the Canadian Innovation Exchange (CIX) will be having a one-day forum for key leaders in the innovation economy. Marcel Lebrun, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Salesforce Radian6 will be giving a keynote speaker at the event.

The CIX Top 20 showcases Canada's hottest innovative companies working in Digital Media and Information and Communication Technology. An expert panel of innovation leaders will select 20 technology companies from across Canada to be featured in a live showcase at CIX 2011, taking place December 1st at MaRS Discovery District in Toronto.
