MCX Gold and silver are trading with a very minor price gain in Commodity market on Thursday. With a gain of 0.25% MCX Gold reached to the level of 30111while the silver is trading at 55132 with a gain of 0.20%. International Markets are showing a flat business in the gold and silver.

Gold in Thursday's trading met it's highest price in the history. But in the international market price is below 15 per cent to record levels. With 0.3 per cent gain MCX gold is trading at Rs 30130. While inspot market of Delhi Golf managed to reach the record price of 30,550.

Jeera prices continued its selloffs and finally closed at 17875 levels. As prices broke the long run ascending trend line support of 18050, sentiments turned bearish and currently prices need to break 45 day EMA support of 17524 for the correction to continue towards 17280 followed by 16940 levels. Further, the daily RSI (14) is still treading within the over bought zone, suggesting a near term lower correction on the cards. However, an acuterise above 18500 could extinguish the bearish tone and continue the upside rallies. Hence, we recommend to sell on pullbacks for the day.

Silver edged lower following rumors of a possible six-month extension on Greece's debt. Prices briefly hit the lowest levels of the session after rumors surfaced that the European Commission could propose a six-month extension to Greece's bailout program, which is due to end on February 28. Prices were slightly higher earlier in the day amid concerns over Greece's future in the euro zone as negotiations with the European Union over the country's debt and bailout continued.

An inter-commodity spread is taking an advantage from the price behavior of two different commodity futures with a same expiry date. Means going long on one commodity future and short in other commodity future. The spread between Lead & Aluminum 27th Feb 2015 expiry futures contracts is hovering in the range of 4.9 to -1.90 levels for the last 60 days. Currently the spread difference is at -1.60 levels and that is expected to become 0.30 in short-term. In current scenario one can take the advantage of the price movement and initiate short position in lead and long position in aluminum at the current market price.
