Michigan Reads! Children's book program. Each year, the state of Michigan chooses one children's book to get students excited about, including activities, ways to interact with the author and illustrator, and resources to explore that follow the book's theme.
Please share your elementary lessons that meet various aspects of the Michigan Educational Technology Standards.
This project is designed to help all Michigan teachers find and share ways they are meeting these standards. If you are from outside Michigan and would like to contribute to or use these ideas, please do so.

REMC MI Streamnet (www.MIstreamnet.org) is a collaboration of the REMC Association of Michigan and the Michigan Department of Education. Its purpose is to provide a clearinghouse of video resources for Michigan educators, including professional development, policy information, and classroom resources. The project aims to make its resources available in an easy-to-use website that is safe for school networks.

All of our MeL Databases workshops are offered free-of-charge to Michigan librarians and teachers, and MCLS has scheduled several online sessions this summer to accommodate vacation schedules.
