More tools to explore for our group. I hadn't before checked out "techsoup" but this link elaborated on much of what we covered over the last 3 months. Many familiar tools and quite a few similar ones shared.

I went on Twitter and asked for some resources for teaching teachers about Google Apps. This was a great find!

Great resource for teaching students how to use the tools. Students would rather watch a video instead of listen to the teacher talk, and why not watch a video created by another student?

WOW! You could get lost in this site rather quickly. I'm often looking for "activating strategies" and usually discoverystreaming is my "go to" source for video clips. Now this site will be another resource for me to use!

Agree with Rich why not use other students to explain how to use the tool. I only think of the endless possibilities you could use to collaborate on different readings or assignments using the tool.

Create Digital e-magazines with no skill required.  WOuldnt this be cool as a school magazine?!?!

This looks like a great site for teaching and learning geography, history and some science topics. I checked the Terms of Use and there is no age limit. Your can play the games anonymously. However, to make a game you need to sign up for an account. All you need is an email. I can definitely see a good use for this for teachers to make games for students. However, I think it would be really cool to have students create games based on curriculum topics. This could be a good intro to learning simple programming such as Scratch.

"eduTecherTV is a show that focuses on educational technology and web-based tools that can make learning an even more fun and dynamic experience" This is a youtube channel that I stumbleupon (no, not the app) that seems very relavant to our LTMS 600 course. The video show seems to show new and useful ways to use web 2.0 tools to create a dynamic learning experience for students. Cool stuff!

Another great idea to help #1 flip your classroom or #2 just help personalize instruction, or #3 work with small groups and individuals through Screenchomp and your Ipad.

Exploration of new options to get visitor experts in your classroom or get your kid feet in more doors through the use of web conferencing tools. 

This seems to be a tremendous collaborative resource where one can gain feedback from others on his/her own lesson approaches....as well as gather instructional ideas from other educators within any particular subject/grade level. Seems to be a broad and expansive warehousing location for ideas/lessons/strategies.
