Youth Voices is a meeting place where students and their teachers share, distribute, and discuss their inquiries and digital work online. It's a space where teachers nurture student-to-student conversations, collaborations, and civic actions that result from publishing and commenting on each others texts, images, audio and video.
Great resource for teaching students how to use the tools. Students would rather watch a video instead of listen to the teacher talk, and why not watch a video created by another student?
WOW! You could get lost in this site rather quickly. I'm often looking for "activating strategies" and usually discoverystreaming is my "go to" source for video clips. Now this site will be another resource for me to use!
Agree with Rich why not use other students to explain how to use the tool. I only think of the endless possibilities you could use to collaborate on different readings or assignments using the tool.
This seems to be a tremendous collaborative resource where one can gain feedback from others on his/her own lesson approaches....as well as gather instructional ideas from other educators within any particular subject/grade level. Seems to be a broad and expansive warehousing location for ideas/lessons/strategies.
Otixo lets you connect your online "Cloud" services to manage and share your files. To add a new provider, select a service on the right where you have an active account.
Thanks Michelle! I saw you post this, and put it on a post it note on my wall. Finally got a chance to take the post-it down, and this is amazing, no more time being taken to remember which cloud system I saved something to. Even sent this link on in my school to other teachers who were highly impressed as well.

I believe most of my HU peers have heard of and /or used this tool, but if you haven't here is a nice little video promo featuring its ease of use.
Seemingly an excellent tool to help develop writing/collaboration/creativity with primary students.
mindmeister is a great tool for collaborative brainstorming. Mindmeister fits in the SAMR categories of augmentation because it can replace poster/marker brainstorming. It also could be considered modification because of the possibility of using it to do brainstorming in a completely new way.
Edmodo is an easy way to get your students connected so they can safely collaborate, get and stay organized, and access assignments, grades, and school messages.
