This is from Acton Public. A good reference for parents. These lists have been developed for two reasons: for parents who have requested help in finding books at their child's reading level. for teachers who have requested a leveled book list or have asked for help in their effort to build a leveled library in their classrooms. I have tried to keep the lists to books that may be available at the local library or at a book store.
Nice list Mark...I wanted to try the Storylines app at morning meeting but it limits the ipad passing to 9 people. Guess I could do two. I'll let you know how it goes.
I got Storypatch. It looks pretty good and offers a lot of options for the kids to make stories. I am going to try it out with a few students and see how it goes.
welcome to diigo, scot! this app is already installed on the cart ipads.we've got "stack the countries," too. full list at: www.lincnet.org/lincolnschoolapps
great, short list of, mostly, web-based tools for writing/storytelling from a masscue2013 workshop.
"For grades K-6, the Common Core requires that students use technology to produce and publish writing, while interacting and collaborating. As the students age, their level of independence increases. Each of the tools that I present to you today, allows for these 4 key actions."
