Brief Description: Virtual field trips in many curriculum: CTE, Fine Arts, Foreign Language, Health & PE, Language Arts, Math, Library Media, Professional Development, Science, Social Studies, Technology, and Online Tutorials
Synopsis:
The lesson plan is based on Hispanic artists. Its purpose is to introduce important artists to students so they may become familiar with artists, their works, and their roles in society. Three artists are highlighted in this lesson, but you can easily incorporate other artists. Plus, this lesson can continue throughout the course with students maintaining notebooks (either in hard form or on the computer) of the artists they study. The lesson is intended for Level II Spanish, but may be adapted for higher levels as well. Similarly, it may be modified for artists from different languages and cultures.
