In industry model education, everything is so standardized that there is no space for creativity. So, it is not surprising that formal education kills the creativity and hinders the cognitive development of kids. By the way, I liked the part about university professors: "Typically [professors] live in their heads. … They look upon their body as a form of transport for their heads. It's a way of getting their head to meetings." This is a nice example of cognitive engagement:)
