Allergen Beagle est un prototype conçu par Sebastian Goudsmit qui permet de faire un test allergique sur n'importe quel aliment pour en connaître la nature. L'idée : offrir un outil simple à ceux qui, de plus en plus nombreux, sont victimes d'allergie alimentaire. Le système est capable de détecter l'arachide, les crustacés, le gluten, le lactose, la noisette, l'oeuf, le soja, l'amande et le sésame. Plus portable, TellSpec - http://tellspec.com - est lui un scanner alimentaire de poche qui fonctionne lui grâce à un spectromètre à infrarouge qui, connecté à un smartphone, vous permet de détecter allergènes, produits chimiques, nutriments et calories présents dans tous vos aliments.
