      So in this model, there is really no learning going on, just memorization for a test, and if you have a good memory, a bit longer.  No new understanding, i.e. learning, is happening.

  • 'd like to argue that to get to that point, the key is the student-centered classroom.  That starts with the students themselves, and empowering them to own their learning.  Utilizing digital means to get there is the key in my book, but that really can't happen until technology is ubiquitous throughout their educational journey.
  • essons don't start changing fundamentally until every kid has a computer every day, and suddenly what used to work no longer does.
