This looks like a great program. The winners from last year are doing some pretty incredible things. I'm sure it is quite competitive. I think a combination of community service with academic involvement would be a potential winner here. The question is...do we have any ideas ambitious enough to be noticed? Maybe approach Mr. James about developing more multimedia into his student's oral history report where the interview individuals from the community?

Just an FYI... The Lincoln County 4-H Ambassadors are looking at this grant to do some community beautification and plant education.

I think Amy Gondeiro may have submitted or be planning to submit to this for either the ES atrium or a new playground - you might want to talk to her and see if she did. Or see if 4-H wants to work on either of those things!

A partnership between Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc. and the National Science Teachers Association, the Toyota TAPESTRY Grants for Science Teachers program offers grants to K-12 science teachers for innovative projects that enhance science education in the school and/or school district.
