Create Rich Text With Rich Notes There's not a lot you can do with your notes in iOS for the most part. Most notes apps let you type and that's about it. If you need to call out specific sections of text or give emphasis to certain phrases, there's only so much you can do. Rich Notes is an app that allows you to not only create notes with bold, underlined, and italicised text, but you can also add color and even highlight passages. Really INTERESTING article about teaching in a 1:! situation. Standing in the back, I watched the screens. The students had seen me come in, and a few clearly clicked away from the screen they had open as I entered. I am, after all, their principal. Our excellent teacher was lecturing. Our excellent students were note-taking, almost all of them typing notes into word documents on their laptops. We are, proudly, a one-to-one laptop school; we are also, proudly but somewhat controversially, a largely unfiltered internet access school (we do block porn and gambling sites, but not social media or gaming).

About Edmodo is a private micro-blogging platform built for use by teachers and students for use in the classroom. The problem with traditional web 2.0 tools in a k-12 classroom environment is concerns over privacy of the students. Edmodo has been built with the privacy of students in mind.
