"Apple's iOS 5 added new enhancements to its email app. To use them, you'll need to set up your email first. Here's how to do it. Open Settings and select Mail, Contacts, Calendars. Then under Accounts tap on Add Account. Add Account Now tap the email service you want to add. Here I'm going to set up my Hotmail email. Weblist is a new way to gather and organize content on the web. Create your list of URLs centered on a specific theme and we will combine it to one easy to navigate URL. Glogs allow you to create an online poster using photographs, images, graphics, video files and sound files. Glogs allow you to add hyperlinks to other websites. When you use a Glog, you are referred to as a "glogger." The benefits of the Glogster Edu version are:  Students can't see content from the regular Glogster site when they are making Glogs in the EDU zone.  You can embed your work in wiki pages.  All Glogs made by students on the teacher page are PRIVATE.  You can easily set up accounts for your students…just register for the EDU zone, fill in the number of student accounts or add accounts from your dashboard.  Each teacher and all his students are connected, and students can leave comments on other student Glogs.  You can see Glogs of your students on their profiles.

GistWeb will give the gist of any web page's actual content. It's goal is to provide a "summary" version of any page, giving you the meat and discarding the fluff. Create Rich Text With Rich Notes There's not a lot you can do with your notes in iOS for the most part. Most notes apps let you type and that's about it. If you need to call out specific sections of text or give emphasis to certain phrases, there's only so much you can do. Rich Notes is an app that allows you to not only create notes with bold, underlined, and italicised text, but you can also add color and even highlight passages. This is a self-professed, blatant all-out "steal" of a great idea begun by Gina Hartman for Twitter users in education. As a plurker, I thought we plurkers needed one of these for us. One of the great things about Twitter is the wealth of useful links that get shared between users. My conservative estimate is that 25% of the resources that I've bookmarked over the last few years have come from Twitter users. The one thing that I wish Twitter had was an option for bookmarking those links without having to open them outside of Twitter. Packrati.us was built to do just that, bookmark links without leaving Twitter. To get started using Packrati.us authorize the service to access your Twitter account and your Delicious account. Once you've authorized Packrati.us it bookmarks in Delicious all of the links you Tweet or reTweet. If you're a frequent user of services like Four Square or Gowalla you can tell Packrati.us to ignore links from those sources. Packrati.us also allows you to specify hashtags to ignore or to add to your links.
