Jul 8 Page Navigation in Google forms Today, we're excited to announce that we've expanded our logic branching capabilities in Google forms. Previously, a form creator had to add an extensive amount of multiple choice questions to the form to ensure that respondents were directed to the correct pages of the form. Form creators can now use a simpler page navigation feature to direct respondents to relevant pages regardless of their answers. Instead of using "dummy" multiple choice questions, form creators can now use "Go to page based on answer" multiple choice questions in conjunction with the new page navigation capabilities to make a simple, easy-to-follow form.

Like commercial survey services like SurveyMonkey, Google Forms (a feature of Google Spreadsheets on Google Docs) now supports branching, or conditional survey questions!"

Today's post is the first in several that will give you an insight to some Google tools you may not have not had the chance to previously explore. Yes, we all Google in one form or another, but most of us are unaware of little tools and great updated features that make Google more than a basic search engine. Plus, with the newest features of Google Squared, the Timeline, and the Wonder Wheel, students and teachers have a way to navigate through information more efficiently and effectively. I don't know about you, but I'm a big fan of getting results quickly rather than wandering in the web for hours.

I envision using this tutorial as being a great connection for my preservice students learning to ask effective questions and then using the collected data for an Infographic.

I've spent the last day and a half testing it out, and so I've had the opportunity to use nearly every feature of the service.  If you were to ask me how to best describe it, I'd say it is like Twitter, Facebook, Skype, and Gmail merged together and formed one, super social, Omni-beast of a website.  The interface is elegant and beautiful, the features are easy to use, and you can "Circle" up with as many people as you want.  However, it isn't without its flaws.

The second page includes a Google Form for you to add your own ideas, practices, or links to information you have found.
