"The winners for each category, selected by an international jury of experts, will win thousands of Euros in cash prizes and ICT equipment. Also, following a successful launch in 2009, the 2010 edition will again be open to international competitors, from countries outside of Europe (see full list of eligible countries in the rules below). Another recent feature: the top 50 entries submitted will be included in the Learning Exchange Resource library (http://lreforschools.eun.org), to give increased visibility to teachers' innovative practices and encourage others to follow their lead. To be eligible for the eLearning Awards, entries must be submitted by schools or teacher training institutions in EU member states, EEA countries, EU applicant countries as well as Switzerland, Israel and Georgia. For the category International cooperation entries are accepted worldwide. A gallery on the eLearning Awards website will showcase all contributions, which will be judged by a panel of experts. Prize Ceremony The prize-giving ceremony, which will be followed by a gala dinner, will take place in Copenhagen early November 2010, during the annual EMINENT conference. The EMINENT conference is a unique chance to meet and discuss with European ministries of education, global companies and key stakeholders in education. Cette société savante publie depuis sa création en 1986 un bulletin bisannuel offert aux membres et vendu 15€ à l'extérieur. Or, nous avons eu il y a quelques mois la surprise de voir nos articles distribués par l'INIST (Institut national pour l'information scientifique et technique), sorte d'entité interne au CNRS assez autonome et aux missions pas toujours bien définies par la tutelle (voir rapport Salençon-Moatti mai 2008 sur l'IST). Voici comment cette distribution se passe. L'INIST demande à l'éditeur de la revue un abonnement gratuit. Puis il décortique chaque numéro et met chacun des articles en vente, avec une description sommaire (exemple pour un article de 1999 consacré au polytechnicien Paulin Talabot) (voir aussi la liste de tous les articles SABIX disponibles sur INIST, moteur Google interne au site INIST).

Beim Gespräch ging es mir vor allem um die Möglichkeiten, die nicht kommerzielle Unternehmen wie Blogger usw. betreffend der Gebührenabgaben haben. Immer mehr Schweizer Musikgruppen möchten beim kulturtv.ch mitmachen. Doch wenn sie bei der SUISA angemeldet sind, ist bei mir die Türe leider zu. Das wird allgemein nicht verstanden. Poto Wegener hat meine Fragen alle aus der Sicht der SUISA beantwortet. Damit ist die rechtliche Situation klar, nicht aber die Zukunft.

The Swiss government agency for Building and Logistics (BBL) has signed a software licence agreement with Microsoft worth 42 million CHF (about 27,8 million euro) without a request for tender, the Swiss newspaper Neue Zürcher Zeitung reported on Tuesday.
