Research examining friend networking sites has greatly increased in the past several months exploring topics related to general use, psychological well being, and content analysis of profiles to name a few. The current study sought to identify dimensions of uses and gratifications for users of friend networking sites. Results identified the following three dimensions: the Information Dimension, the Friendship Dimension, and the Connection Dimension. The article talks about how students can improve their learning through video games. It teaches you all the steps that you wanted to know just like in Sim City it teaches you how you pay your rent and taxes, provide water and power sources, build industrial and residential zones.

I found an extremely interesting blog about my topic: Facebook and Identity and the way a social networking site really does affect one's identity. I like that I was able to find a blog on my topic because it shows good insight of my topic that shows that my topic really does affect real people.

In "What's the big attraction? Why teachers are drawn to using Multiple intelligences Theory in their Classrooms", Leslie Owens describes how many teachers are attracted to the fact that they are able to teach and children can learn in different ways. Teachers like the Multiple Intelligence Theory because it "aids teachers in easily creating more personalized and diverse instructional experiences", "offers teacher assistance in helping students become empowered learners by extending and promoting cognitive bridging techniques based on the seven intelligences: by fostering deep metacognitive understanding; and by advancing suggestions for a broad array of diversified study skills techniques.

This author makes many arguments like the author does in my second Annotation. For example, he or she describes or teachers should create a separate Facebook profile for their work from their personal life in order to help manage privacy settings. Keeping a separate profile helps teachers keep their personal lives private.

I found this article to be very appealing; it discusses how the media provides an important background for the social, emotional, and cognitive development of youth with socilized neworks. He also states how facebook affects college students in today's culture.
