Make a great color scheme! I play with this site all the time. You can have a monochromatic scheme, a complement, analogic... and so much more. There are also options so you can see what your color scheme might look like to a color blind person!

A blog, where the author blogs in 50 words or fewer, I believe. Also an interesting design to look at.

This an excellent source for seekers of jobs in the media/journalism and freelance positions. It also has information about classes and seminars given online or at specific locations. The site is free, but if you sign up as a member, you get more insider infomation and invites to industry networking gatherings. Plus discounts off any of the courses. The membership is $50. its worth it!

An intriguing person-on-the-street photography blog.

hmm, definitely intriguing, but a very clean layout.

I hope this link is "legal" (if it's not, I apologize), but there are some "tricks" to get super-fancy with your blog HTML.

These seem like pretty basic themes, so hopefully they can be manipulated easily. There are a couple fancy ones -- which obviously won't fly -- but in case you guys haven't found something that tickles your fancy, got another 300 for you to check out. :)

A totally free nice-looking theme for Wordpress! Oh, and did I mention the sidebar is on the left? It's awesome. I won't be using it on my site, because I prefer the sidebar on the right. You guys can enjoy :)

This is a very basic theme that looks like it might be pretty interesting. I will definitely be messing around with it. I just thought that I would share it in case others might be interested.

A complex theme that I'm hoping to manipulate and use for my site. It has three columns, and looks complex but outlining the box level elements shows it's fairly simple.

Scott Schuman is The Sartorialist. He has created an intriguing person-on-the-street photography blog. His work influences the fashion design industry and trickles to many other design disciplines. I like the spirit of the site, and hope to incorporate this in my own photography.

This theme is called Fat Mary, and I'm thinking about using it for my website.

"Faux Columns" by Dan Cederholm of SimpleBits discusses "[a] simple way to make CSS columns appear equal in length, regardless of the content that they contain." This technique requires a good amount of skill in positioning elements on a page and understanding the nuances of the background image. I'd like to try it, but don't anticipate using it any time in the near future, but because we're using Wordpress I'm not sure I'll be needing to any time soon.

Very good demonstration; however the narrator moves along quickly so you have to pause and go back alot in order to catch on.
