  •
UX is user experience. It's interesting to think about in terms of usability - the visual experience is important to a successful website not just functional features like links and a pretty header

This site is one that I would have found confusing before this class. It seems complicated with all of the different drawn images, but its block elements are very basic and straightforward.

Article about Jakob Nielsen who wrote "Prioritizing Web Usability" and if you take a look at his site it's extremely minimal and I would argue doesn't follow the usability guidelines we discussed in class. \n\nThis is an article about why.

I found this through cssloaf.com, and I can't say that I like it. In order to see any of the content, the viewer has to scroll an extraordinary amount. And when you do finally get to some text, very little information is given. Not my cup of tea, and not very user-friendly.

Theme Preview » Previewing Another WordPress Blog - 0 views

This would be a great template if anyone will have visual art - photos, paintings, drawings - to blog about. Each block is a new post, I think. I won't be using it because my preference will be words... Unless you think I could pull off having a diagram in each photo :)
