Photo Source: How To Improve Communication In A Relationship - Listen Carefully Before Responding by UrbaneWomenMag, on Flickr Michael Brady is web entrepreneur and is currently running a very popular dating site (Dating In Ireland). He wishes to coach people on some skills that will make them more prepared for an online dating experience Article City Communication in a Relationship Communication is a vital part of our lives: a typical day involves many interactions between ourselves, our work colleagues and clients, our children, our friends, our ex's, future relationships, etc. This interaction takes place where we live, work, relax, socialize and wherever we perform routine tasks. Communication skills are critical for building healthy relationships, especially when one realizes that one of the most common causes of relational breakdown is a lack of communication. Just as communication can be the most important part of a relationship; arguments can be the most destructive aspect - the closer we are to someone, the more easily we can bruise or be bruised. There is very little truth in the saying: "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words can never harm me." It's not what we say, but rather how we say it, that most often hurts another person. Do you identify with any of these statements? "He never listens to me when I talk!" "She talk

The first month of the impeachment trial of Chief Justice Renato Corona at the Senate from Jan. 16 to Feb. 16 unearthed a wealth of information on the Statements of Assets, Liabilities and Net worth (SALNs), bank accounts, and real estate properties of the country's top magistrate. In the order of trial, the prosecution gets to present its evidence before the defense. The marking of documents and the testimonies of witnesses are a preliminary step to the offer of evidence, which comes after both sides have finished arguing their case before the court. By the end of the first month of the trial, the prosecution has not moved beyond Article II and a little of Article III. This summary presents the highlights of the trial so far, including entries from a recap of the first seven days.

OverseasFilipinoWorker(OFW):The Game Of Life: The Turn Tail with My Daughter #OFW64 - 0 views

We ran outside the hotel's room, up to the exit door, and find our way through the vacant lot. We hid for a moment at the back of the mango tree and climbed onto the concrete fence. The bullets still following us which I couldn't decipher where it came from and who's firing at us. But I knew that this was still part of the game. At the other end, I saw the narrow way and hastily pushed Aira inside while I came after her. The smell of the place cannot stop us from escaping the route. We finally got the chance to run freely into an open road, grabbed a taxi cab heading to the southern part of Negros Occidental. - See more at: http://ofw-the-game-of-life.blogspot.com/2015/01/the-turn-tail-with-my-daughter-ofw64.html#.VKzTBPmUepc

How Music Production Studio Can Help You Promote Your Business? #FreeMusic | Free Music... - 0 views

  •
Keyboards, loudspeakers, mixing consoles, microphones and multiple track recorders are some of the equipment that can be found in the music studio. For music production, the other equipment such as the digital audio workstations, a music workstation, an “on air” recording light, and equalizers are also required. The music producer is the head of the team, hence should have plenty of knowledge about the ins and outs of producing a great album that appeals to the masses. The singer and the whole band to listen carefully to what the music producer says as he leads the show. When the recording is finished, the final cut is announced. There might be some adjustments made, if the music and sound does not appeal to the client.

Guitar Straps: Stand Up And Put A Guitar On! ~ Free Music and Writing - 0 views

  •
Back in the early part of the twentieth century, the guitar was anything but central to any kind of musical ensemble. Electric instruments were not yet invented, and any particular style of guitar that existed at the time just simply could not project the type of volume that a horn instrument, a piano, or a drum set could. However, in the thirties and forties, the guitar became a much more popular and prominent instrument. Once the electric guitar was invented and the kinks were worked out in regards to the amplification of the guitar, guitars went from being a background instrument in big bands to being the primary instrument in the majority of musical groups. With guitarists now front and center on the musical stage, many guitarists wanted to be able to stand up and to move around on stage. That being the case, guitar straps became a very common guitar accessory.

Why We Pay Any Price for a Good Cup of Coffee - 0 views

  •
What is the appeal of the coffee shop? What makes people go to coffee shops every day? Why do people pay the outrageous amounts of money for a cup coffee they can just as well make at home? Simply enough, it's because people just love coffee! They love the taste and the smell of the hot liquid craved by so many. It's that "eye-opening" sensation you get from that first cup of coffee of the day. Of course, everyone has a favorite so the tastes and smells of the coffees and blends will vary from person to person. But from the first sip to the last, people love coffee. Some might argue that it's the stimulating affect of the caffeine of the coffee bean that keeps them coming back again and again; however, those who drink decaf still can't seem to get enough either!

I, Prauncar, King of the rich land of Camboja, I, sole lord of it, the great, cherish an ardent love for Doctor Antonio de Morga, whom I am unable to keep from my thoughts, because I have learned through Captain Chofa Don Blas, the Castilian, that he, from the kindness of his heart, took an active part and has assisted the governor of Luzon to send to this country Captain Chofa Don Blas, the Castilian, and Captain Chofa Don Diego, the Portuguese, with soldiers to find King Prauncar my father. Having searched for him in vain, the two chofas and the soldiers killed Anacaparan, who was reigning as sole great lord. Then they went with their ships to Cochinchina, whence the two chofas went to Lao, to find the king of this land. They brought me back to my kingdom, and I am here now through their aid. The two chofas and other Spaniards who have come, have helped me to pacify what I now hold. I understand that all this has come to me because the doctor loves this country.

Negros Island (Occidental) Philippines #IlonggoOFW - 0 views

  •
Negros Island was originally known to the natives as "Buglas". When the Spaniards arrived in April 1565, they named it "Negros" because of the dark-skinned natives they found. Two of the earliest native settlements were Binalbagan and Ilog which later became towns in 1572 and 1584, respectively. Other settlements were Hinigaran, Negros Occidental, Bago, Marayo (now Pontevedra), Mamalan (now Himamaylan) and Candaguit (a sitio in San Enrique). Ilog was made the first capital of the province in 1743. This was later transferred to Himamaylan. Bacolod became the capital in 1849. The island was divided into Negros Oriental and Negros Occidental in 1890. The two provinces were briefly united as an independent Republic of Negros with Bacolod as the capital on November 27, 1898. It became a protectorate of the United States until 1901, when the republic was dissolved, with the two provinces annexed to the Philippines. - See more at: http://ilonggoakonoon-ofwakongayon.blogspot.com/2014/06/negros-island-occidental-philippines.html#.U51gY1KSyho

Music Notes: The Basics Of Musical Notation - 0 views

  •
The pitch of a note is represented by its placement on a musical staff (five horizontal lines) or on ledger lines above or below the staff. For example, the first line of the staff (treble clef) is the note E, the space between the first and second lines is F, and a note on the second line is the note G. As the notes ascend on the staff (on the written music), they are played as continually higher pitches, and as lower and lower pitches as they descend down the staff. These notes are played separately to create a melody, or in combination with each other to produce chords.

Summer Smoothies - 0 views

  •
The summer sun swelters outside. Inside it is warm, the fruit bowl sits lusciously on the window sill, bursting with seasonal plenty - peaches, mangoes, grapes as well as the year round banana. All of the fruit is at point of perfect ripeness, begging to be eaten right now before it descends into a pool of pulp. It could have stayed in the fridge and been brought out in economical relays to ripen for a day, but there is something about a full fruit bowl, a promise of health and succulence, that time and again makes me arrange it as a still life, as I unpack the shopping, only to be wrong-footed when it all ripens at the same time. Typically the children are only bothering to eat apples, which last forever in the fridge. Desperate measures are called for.

How to Make Gingham Covered Walls at Home | Computersight - 0 views

  •
This check effect has a fresh, contemporary feel in bright, light colors - though it can change dramatically with a different palette. In traditional dark greens, blues and reds, it will produce a dramatic tartan effect, and in pale off-white tones, a neutral minimalist look. The obvious way to find inspiration is to pick three colors from the fabric used in the room and use the dominant color for the background glaze. You have to make the blue background echoes the bright blue stripe in the flowery chintz, and the stripes pick up accent colors in sharp green and yellow. Instead of conventional wooden moldings, you could use a fabric braid to edge the effect. Read more: http://computersight.com/computers/how-to-make-gingham-covered-walls-at-home/#ixzz1lidDPN00

Papaitan: Cut the sirloin beef into small diced pieces of roughly about ¼ inch square (another style is to cut the beef into stripes of about 1/5 in thick by 1 inch long). Either way, each individual piece is basically the same amount of meat). When there is some fat on the meat, cut away the fat part (leaving some meat on the fat). Cut the fat/meat portion the same way as the regular meat. Keep it separated from the regular meat. Rinse both portions in cold water to remove excess blood. Set both portions aside.

Teenage/Parent Conflict can Cause Emotional Outbursts and Do Great Family Harm - How to... - 0 views

  •
How often do we find ourselves saying painful things in the heat of the moment to those we care about that we then regret? Words that cut deep but later realize we don't really mean. But once uttered the damage is done. No matter how bad we feel about what we've said these words can never truly be retracted. So what to do about it? Well, relying on set strategies to curb irrational outbursts in these emotionally charged moments doesn't always work for by then we're out of control and it's too late. There are two ways I know to avoid this disastrous state of affairs. The first is don't keep pressing the emotional hot button of the person that presses yours! And the second is keep in mind the heavy price others have paid for ill-considered words in the heat of the moment and learn from their mistakes
