I found this Very Interesting, I can see how working at home has it's benefits, however I feel you'd get more done at work, as your in a working environment and so more stimulated. Even if you don't do as much you would be more active. funnily this is like the difference between a house cat and an outdoor cat. It all about the environment you live in, and work in.

There are strong arguments in favour of remote or teleworking. Time saved not having to commute into a central office can translate into higher productivity, better quality of life, and give people with families more flexibility over how they organise their time.

I found this article interesting, however I can't imagine myself working from home, I get distracted as it is with my computer always luring me to it. However it is interesting to notice how teleworking is increasing but not booming as many would expect it to be.

Yahoo has banned its staff from "remote" working. After years of many predicting working from home as the future for everybody, why is it not the norm? When a memo from human resources dropped into the inbox of Yahoo staff banning them from working from home it prompted anger from many of its recipients.

Telecommuting is a practice in which an employee works at a location-usually, but not always, one's home-that is remote from the actual business facility at which he/she is employed. Both models each serve the specific needs and circumstances of the environment where the software is to be deployed. And such needs and circumstances ultimately determine what factors are relevant and applicable, and whether certain advantages and disadvantages of the open source or commercial software model should be given more weight and consideration in determining the approach for that implementation and deployment.
