This is a very easy and colorful way to keep track of those bookmarks a user wants on multiple computers. This is very easy even for those who are not tech savvy.

Very comprehensive list of a ton of presentation tools/platforms on the web. Many of these are new to me, many we have used. There are short desriptions of each and a link.

Educators rate and review apps, games, websites, etc and explain how they are using them in the classroom.

Abby - This looks like a nice teacher site. It's nice to read a quick blurb about what the sites are along with the rating. I liked that there was a section of the site to connect apps to common core standards. This could be very helpful and I appreciate that I can start with the standard (objective) and connect it to the technology. I think sometimes teachers start with a cool piece of tech and try to make it fit in their curriculum and it becomes more of a bell and whistle than a purposeful use of technology.

Sarah I agree! I will admit that sometimes I see something so cool that I want to use, but am not sure it really fits.

PowToon offers a great way to make PowerPoint presentations more engaging offering new graphics and a slick interface that's easy for users to dabble with.

This is a way to make presentations without the boring slides that seem to be the norm. This is visually pleasing in the learning environment.

We have used Google Hangouts to video chat with up to three other classes at one time. We used it mostly with the Global Read Aloud. It was great and easy to use.

Rob, I've intrigued by augmented reality since I first learned about it at an EdCamp last winter. Since then I've played around with AR flashcards, Chromville and Aurasma. I can see this application used both by teachers and students. It is my hope to generate some Aurasma's next year that students can demonstrate to the public. This will work to connect student learning to the public and showcase our 1:1 ipad initiative! @travislappe is someone you should follow on Twitter - he's a tech integrationist in South Dakota that has been very active with augmented reality.

I have been intrigued by augmented reality since beginning the VREP program at my school. This resource looks like a user friendly way to introduce the concept of AR into the classroom. I have actually used Poly Fauna for a collaborative project with West Central's chorus. It was a great way to tell a story and adapt a virtual storyboard to music. It definitely expanded the lesson plans I had previously implemented with our peer groups.
