Central bank of Iraq is taking measures to control the issues of counterfeited currency to save it from fraud. This enhances the confidence of people on their local currency, said governor of central bank. Central bank of Iraq issued several new notes with new and exciting security features that are difficult to copy and counterfeited.

The $23 million fraud is in the news of USA where two local businessmen were found guilty for wire fraud. The amount can be calculated in billions if converted to Iraqi dinar. These businessmen gathered the huge amount of US dollars in by giving false statements for revaluation of Iraqi dinar on 30th April.

The hearing of biggest fraud in the currency of Iraqi dinar has started in United States of America today. The three American fooled his fellow Americans by investing $23 million in the Iraqi dinar. The investors were attracted by Trio by the false statement for revaluation of Iraqi dinar. Some sources say that these investors were attracted by the statement of Noor Al Maliki that he gave on local T.V about revaluation of Iraqi dinar by the 30th of April.
