Central Bank of Iraq: Government Should Avoid Imposing Its Policies CBI has clearly announced that they would not withstand any interference from sources other than the Iraqi government and they are hopeful the government will not impose its policies to it.

Central bank of Iraq especially warned commercial banks against use of Bitcoin in their dealing to avoid any currency scam. Bitcoin is the digital currency used for internet sales and purchase.

The Central bank of Iraq is facing different fictitious creditors in the different foreign countries. Therefore the central bank of Iraq took swift action and distributed its funds in the different foreign banks to avoid these false creditors. This will help central bank to protect its funds abroad.

The Central bank of Iraq issued new Iraqi dinars with new codes, images and many other security measures to avoid forgery and forfeited issues. Central bank of Iraq was monitoring the complaints about forgery in 250, 500 and 1000 IQD notes and tried to control it for some time. More than 70 trillion Iraqi dinars with this value are in the circulation. It was so difficult to control the whole currency and the problem it was facing in the trade market.

The Iraqi government has been taking several serious steps to eliminate the chances of counterfeit currency flowing in Iraq but so far these steps have proved insufficient and the government needs to take some other measures to avoid counterfeit currency flow in the country.
