"I'm very invested in the iPad as a laptop replacement, and I endeavour to make it my main machine when I'm away from my desk (at which I currently use an iMac). I travel regularly, often to speak at events, and I try to embrace simplicity and to work away from my office as much as I can. "Although the main goal when I proposed the Tap Into Teen Minds iPad Project was to increase engagement and student achievement in the mathematics classroom, I also wanted to eliminate items used in the traditional mathematics classroom and determine whether costs could also be reduced simultaneously."

"As a individual consumer with an iTunes account you would normally buy one app and load it onto all of your iOS devices. As a school you need to ensure that you buy one app per device to ensure that you do not break the iTunes licensing agreement. "I was recently at Our Lady of the Angels Rouse Hill doing a workshop with them in creating iBooks using iBooks Author. You can download Apple Configurator from the Mac App Store. It is a free application."
