I think this is a great example of a an app that has multiple uses. Included are reference guides to plants and animals, sightings of various birds and wildlife (social) and "adventures" which take you around the park.

Great website for music and the iPad

A great list of Dropbox compatible apps for keeping files in syc with Dropbox.

Appsfire is a place for you to create a list of your favorite apps as well as find other apps that you may like. Appsfire also allows you to "Follow" a search term for updates in the future. You can also limit your search to free only apps. Another great feature of the site is the ability to share your "Device" on social networks. You can also add your device to your blog."

10 Great iPad Apps for Teachers

I will not say those are "must-have" apps. However, it would be great to see other people's work.

Great for little hands

"Since Apple launched and introduced the iTunes stores the mobile industry has rushed to embrace the sale of applications. iSuppli estimates that in Q1 2010, Apple's share of revenue from the sale of applications developed for the iPhone is expected to be $200 million, but that the greater part of the revenue -- 70% -- will go to the developers. As an application developer, LOCiMOBILE represents the premium App based services like off-board navigation and PLS which are in great demand."

Apple apparently likes to release updates at the speed of light, which is great for iPhone owners and developers.

Windows Marketplace plans to launch with 600 applications available for download. While it's an uphill battle to challenge the App Store, this is certainly a great start.
