The stock market is giving so much relief to traders today from very long time, Sensex ends up 506.28 points at 27105.39 and Nifty ends up 134.20 points at 8191.50. ICICI Bank, Cipla, Tata motors, Hindalco and HUL were the major gainers in the Sensex. Among the losers were Hero Motocorp, ONGC, TCS, NTPC and Vedanta.

The stock market trading ends with positive note, Sensex end up 117.94 points at 27324.00 and NIfty ends up 38.15 points at 8262.35. Today BSE Sensex made high of 27379.57 and low of 27159.76 while NSE Nifty made high of 8279.20 and low of 8212.20 on the intraday basis.

ONGC climbed 8 percent while Bajaj Auto, Cipla, M&M and BHEL were major gainers in the Sensex.Among the losers were Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, and Tata motors.

The stock market has ended with negative note after showing volatility in the day trading, Sensex fell 50.45 points at 27440.14 while Nifty ended down 11.25 points at 8320.70. Metal stocks like Vedanta and Tata steel gain high while ONGC, Hindalco and HUL were other gainers in Sensex.

The stock market ends with bulls eye target and closed on two weeks high, Sensex ended up 401.91 points at 27507.30 and Nifty ended up 133.75 points at 8325.25. Vedanta and SBI were up over 5 percent while Tata motors, Hero and Tata Steel were other gainers. Among the losers were ITC, Wipro, HUL and Bharti Airtel.

NCDEX Spices Report: Most jeera contracts on the National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange ended down over 1% as commencement of new crop arrivals weighed on the sentiment, while pepper futures gained support from tight supply in local market amid good winter demand. In key Unjha market, exchange-deliverable quality jeera quoted 13,900 rupees per 100 kg, down 100 rupees from Wednesday. Expectations of higher output in leading producer Gujarat are likely to weigh on jeera prices in the near term. Coriander futures ended lower due to thin demand from stockists and profit booking at higher price levels, analysts said. Base metals are expected to go up as China's copper imports rose 2.9 percent to 350,958 tonnes in January in the previous month and can support prices on improved outlook for demand after the holiday season ends.Three-month copper on the London Metal Exchange closed down 0.30 percent at $8,210 a tonne. Natural gas prices are likely to go down due to high production and inventories. However cold weather forecasts can limit the downside.
