Indian soybean futures hit contract high on Thursday due to dwindling supplies in the physical market and good demand from millers. Rapeseed, however, declined due to arrivals from the new crop. Market ended lower on 3rd successive day today. The Sensex slipped 71.54 points to 25230.36 while the Nifty slipped by 18.65 points to 7731.05. About 1077 shares advanced while 1501 shares declined. ITC gained 4.99 percent to 346.85. Power Grid Corp surged by 2.31 percent to 148.15. Tata Power, Ambuja Cements, Adani Ports, ACC, Bharti Infratel were the gainers.
