Commodity Market Trading Tips Crude oil prices rose on Monday despite disappointing trade data from China that showed a sharp drop in exports and a narrower trade surplus than expected. Oil prices moved up on Monday following a strong session on Friday, as traders highered their bets on higher prices amid a slowdown in US drilling, but analysts warned fundamentals remained weak. MCX SILVER July contract was trading at Rs 37070 down Rs 100, or 0.27 percent. The SILVER price touched an intraday high of Rs 37200 and an intraday low of Rs 37070. So far 14 contracts have been traded. SILVER prices have moved down Rs 1808, or 4.65 percent in the July series so far.

Precious metals prices rose in unison with equities and commodities on Friday, notching a weekly gain, after U.S. nonfarm payrolls data showed modest job growth in January. MCX Silver Price Today: SILVERMIC prices on MCX slipped. At 15:50 hrs MCX SILVERMIC February contract was trading at Rs 57283 down Rs 408, or 0.71%. The SILVERMIC rate touched an intraday high of Rs 57630 and an intraday low of Rs 57250. So far 38590 contracts have been traded. SILVERMIC prices have moved up Rs 783, or 1.39% in the February series so far. Silver prices were trading lower in major metros in India. MCX SILVER December contract was trading at Rs 34615 down Rs 10, or 0.03 percent. The SILVER rate touched an intraday high of Rs 34678 and an intraday low of Rs 34580. So far 1054 contract have been traded. SILVER prices have moved down Rs 4505, or 11.52 percent in the December contract as such.

Gold closed same as day before yesterday at $1386, as the advance was contained by the Fibonacci retracement levels at $1425. This is the 38.2% retracement of the decline of the April high of $1590. While the downtrend is still very much there but the trend is weakening as gold slowly moves higher. Still, we are neutral as we are trading within its range. Silver also closed at $21.81, but the trading volume is still low. There are a number of spinning tops present in the chats whish is characteristic of consolidation but the downtrend is still remain in the cards....
