Today, Canadian Space Agency astronaut Chris Hadfield passed command of the International Space Station to cosmonaut Pavel Vinogradov. "Partnering with Icelandic singer andartist Björk, and the New York Public Library, CMOM presents Biophilia, a suite of nine musical compositions with accompanying games, images and videos that encourages users to explore the connections between music, nature and technology. Using provided iPads, CMOM educators will conduct workshops, guiding families through the Biophilia apps to foster creativity and inspire children to tap into their own musical creativity. Children and families will explore the themes of Biophilia while enjoying hands-on science experiments, movement, dance and even music theory."
