This is a great TED talk about how videos can be annotated and recreated in the digital age. Great ideas for educators.

ZoomIt is screen zoom and annotation tool for technical presentations that include application demonstrations. ZoomIt runs unobtrusively in the tray and activates with customizable hotkeys to zoom in on an area of the screen, move around while zoomed, and draw on the zoomed image. I wrote ZoomIt to fit my specific needs and use it in all my presentations. ZoomIt works on all versions of Windows and you can use pen input for ZoomIt drawing on tablet PCs.

Turn students' view of the world upside-down, literally! Oxfam's globe allows you view the globe from different perspectives, while asking questions. Use this in combination with SMART Notebook's Transparent Background to annotate and capture different views of our world. From the site: "Mapping our World is a whiteboard teaching product for 8 to 14 year olds. It explores the relationship between maps and globes, and how different projections influence our perception of the world. It challenges the idea that there is one 'correct' version of the world map."

yeah i love the labs where creativity is still there, just before the "belived market" 187 softs ... but the searchtool is awfullt buggy ...
